Lil Durk Warns Fans Against Unauthorized Business Deals in His Name

Anyone claiming to handle business on behalf of Lil Durk should be ready to prove their legitimacy. The Chicago rapper has issued a firm warning about financial dealings involving his name, stressing that only a select few people in his inner circle are authorized to represent him. He also cautioned that anyone who fails to verify who they’re dealing with could end up losing money.

“If it’s not my legal team or my wife please do not do any business or money transactions with anybody without verification or your loss,” Durk wrote on social media.

Durk didn’t name anyone accused of falsely representing him, nor did he reveal whether a specific incident prompted the warning. However, his statement suggests concerns about people potentially using their connection to him to solicit money or negotiate deals without proper authorization. His mention of his wife points to India Royale, who has continued to publicly support him throughout his ongoing federal legal proceedings.

The warning comes at a critical time for the rapper, who remains in federal custody despite scoring a major legal victory last month. On September 11, a Los Angeles jury found Durk not guilty on all five charges in his murder-for-hire trial, which centered on allegations that he arranged a 2022 attack targeting Quando Rondo. His legal team celebrated the verdict and called for his release, but a separate federal case has kept him behind bars.

Royale also celebrated the acquittal publicly, sharing a photo of Durk with their daughter, Willow, while expressing gratitude to God. Durk, meanwhile, recognized those who supported his defense, posting a picture of his attorneys and thanking his family and supporters.

His remaining legal battle involves charges of murder in aid of racketeering and a related firearms offense, both of which he has denied. A federal judge delayed the trial until August 30, 2027, after his defense attorneys requested additional preparation time. Durk is expected back in court on November 4 for a bond review hearing, where a decision will be made on whether he can await his next trial outside federal custody.
